Company History
Taylor Ultimate Services Company, previously known as Edwards Equipment Company, was established over 50 years ago in Sarasota, Florida covering the entire state of Florida as the exclusive distributor for the Taylor Freezer Company and shortly thereafter relocated to Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Established in Fort Lauderdale with a name change in 1990 to Taylor Ultimate Services Co. as a privately held company by the Piedra family. Raul Piedra, Jr. and RJ. Piedra III, manage the company with a leadership team from Administration, Sales & Marketing, Parts and Service covering South Florida and the Caribbean, Cuba and The Bahamas.
The Piedra’s and the leadership team have over 50 years experience in the Restaurant Specialty Equipment industry providing sales and service to independent restaurants as well as quick service national account restaurants such as McDonald’s, Burger King, Wendy’s, Dunkin Donuts and Chili’s maintaining their parts and service needs for the equipment in which they have invested in.
In 1998 Taylor US built a new 60,000 square foot office and warehouse in Weston, Florida now know as the Taylor building. It offers a showroom, Parts Department, conference center and full test kitchen for the purpose of providing technical support to all customers for the process of better understanding the equipment and the current market trends with different products available.
The company has provided thousands of installations with turnkey startups throughout the region. The company has committed and is committed to understanding the needs of the customers and providing after the sale support from the leadership team with Administration, Sales, Parts and Service within the region.
